Remicade Treatment and Male Fertility in Ankylosing Spondylitis

Posted on: 3/30/09

The results of the study found that, "4 patients with AS who had fathered 6 healthy children during infliximab treatment. One patient was also treated with small doses of methotrexate."

The authors do caution that more research was needed because of the limited number of men found in the 2001-2007 record review on infliximab (Remicade) who fathered children.
