Posted on: 8/16/2010

From MSNBC: "Phil Mickelson is being treated for arthritis that surfaced just before the U.S. Open and left him in so much pain he couldn't walk."

Mickelson was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, a disease in the group of rheumatic conditions known as spondyloarthropathies.

"I feel 100 percent, like I say. But when I (was) laying there on the couch and I (couldn't) move, yeah, I had some concerns. But I feel a lot better now." He said.

Mickelson finished the PGA Championship on August 15, 2010 tied for 12th place.
